RE: Does anyone know if......

Thanks everyone, for your help. My friends say "leave your dogs at home; put them in a kennel " etc., but I just can't do that. Someday something will work. Carole

RE: Anyone Alter Garage Door to Fit Your B?

This is a good thread Julie. I was wondering the same thing. Our Home Owners Association will not allow any RV, including Class B's, be parked in the neighborhood. VERY frustrating!!!

Does anyone know if......

I was wondering if a Honda or Toyota van could be somewhat converted? Can a generator be put in one that would run an AC unit when the van is parked and the engine is off? I know this sounds like a dumb question but I want to be able to travel with my dogs and when we stop to sight see on a really hot day, the dogs could stay in the van and be cool and safe. Thanks, Carole

RE: Sprinter Pop-top from Sportsmobile

Oops, sorry, I sure wasn't clear in my question. I'm trying to see if the chevy van would fit in my garage if the pop top was down. The sprinter just misses. I don't know if the chevy is shorter because if it is I could buy a used one and have sportsmobile convert it and add a pop top then it would maybe fit in the garage...

RE: Sprinter Pop-top from Sportsmobile

Does anyone know the height of the sprinter with the pop-up verses the chevy with the pop up?

RE: Sportmobile Penthouse Top

I just had a scan @ Sportsmobile's price for the penthouse. Almost $5000 installed is no small price. I also notice that they no longer do Dodge vans. I'm not sure where the mistake is but I just talked with Sportsmobile and they definitely are installing the penthouse on the Dodge. They just finished their first 2008 today. Sorry for the correction.
